Fire ant protection that holds
If you’ve stood in the wrong spot in a Texas yard, you know. Kicking a mound over just moves the colony ten feet. We treat the whole colony, queen included, so it’s gone.

What we treat
Mounds in the lawn, the flower beds, along the sidewalk and driveway, and anywhere the kids play. Then we broadcast bait over the whole yard, because there are usually more colonies than mounds.
How it works
We treat the mounds you can see with a product that gets down to the queen. Then we put bait across the lawn, and the workers carry it home to the colonies you haven’t found. Do both and the mounds don’t pop back up two weeks later.
What to expect
The mounds die instead of moving. Keep up the seasonal rounds and you can go barefoot in the yard.
Common Questions
Fire Ant Protection FAQs
Why do mounds keep coming back after I treat them myself?
The stuff at the hardware store kills the workers near the top and misses the queen, so the colony moves. Our products reach the queen, and the bait gets the colonies you didn’t know were there.
How long until the yard is safe after treatment?
We’ll tell you at the visit. Usually you wait for the granules to get watered in or the liquid to dry, and that’s it.
Is one treatment enough?
One round clears what’s there now. But fire ants come back in from the neighbors’ yards, so seasonal broadcast rounds are what keep them out.
